Ambess Prepaid ™: How it began…
The history of Ambess Prepaid began in the early 1990’s as Ambess Prepaid placed its first prepaid phone card vending machine in a small retail location in rural Pennsylvania. The objective was to enable the retailer to offer affordable telecommunications services. Until then, prepaid could not be purchased at retail outlets. Sales exploded! Ambess Prepaid would soon become a Master Reseller of prepaid telecom products nationwide.
Ambess Prepaid emerges
In 1998, Ambess Prepaid became one of the first switchless resellers to offer prepaid services on a wholesale/usage basis. We enabled recruited distributors to operate their own prepaid business (facilities, billing, back-office, etc.) as if they owned their own prepaid platform. The concept was innovative in that there was no capital or back-office investment.
Wireless, Gift Cards, and other solutions
In 2001, Ambess Prepaid again catapulted itself to new heights with the development of PosiCash™. PosiCash was designed to enhance prepaid services through electronic distribution—a point-of-sale electronic terminal. This enhancement, coupled with Ambess Prepaid’s proven marketing concept, enables distributors, wholesalers, suppliers and retailers of all sizes to enjoy the benefits of our “Profit Now” methodology. Through PosiCash, resellers offer a multitude of products to their customers. This creates added efficiencies in the sales process, eliminates start-up costs—yet, offers the retailer a wide array of nationally known products.
